Ari Lennox
Courtney Shanade Salter, better known as Ari Lennox, is an American singer and musician born in Washington, D.C., who was the first female to be signed to J. Cole's Dreamville Records record label. Her debut EP Pho, released which was released on 21 October 2016 was released through Dreamville Records. The singer began to earn recognition. Shea Butter Baby her debut album was released on May 7, 2019. Ari Lennox began posting her music to the internet back in 2012 after she released her debut mixtape, Five Finger Discount and debut EP Ariography, in 2013. The year 2014 saw Ari Lennox release her single Bound, as well as her self-released mixtape Five Finger Discount. Sweat It is part of Omen's Elephant Eyes album which dropped on July 21, 2015. Later that year her music began to circulate throughout the Dreamville team as J. Cole wanted her to join him in creating some potential references to Rihanna.
